American economist, labor economist, and current Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University, Claudia Dale Goldin. The 2023 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was to Claudia Goldin “for having improved our understanding of women’s labor market outcomes.” Only three women have ever received the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences: Elinor Ostrom in 2009 and Esther Duflo in 2019. Goldin is the third. Her prize honors both her significant contributions to economics and her efforts to advance gender equality.

Army concludes 70 schemes under EP-4 worth ₹11000 crore
