2. 16th Agricultural Science Congress will be
organized in Kochi
Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Parshottam Rupala will inaugurate the 16th Agricultural Science Congress in Kochi on October 10. It should be organized by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences. About 1500 delegates from India and abroad will attend this congress.

Information (AEOI), Switzerland has shared details of about 36 lakh financial accounts with 104 countries. India received the first details from Switzerland under AEOI in September 2019, when it shared information with 75 countries.

6. Tenure of SBI Chairman extended
On October 6, the Central Government has extended the tenure of State Bank of India (SBI) Chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara by one year. 7. Yak Churpi gets GI tag
Paneer Churpi made from yak milk of Arunachal Pradesh has got the Geographical Indication (GI) tag. GI tag is given to the product belonging to a particular region. This yak is a breed found in West Kameng and Tamang districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Yak Churpi has been a staple food of the tribal communities of Arunachal Pradesh. Khamta rice of Arunachal Pradesh has also been given GI tag.

10. Fiscal deficit as a percentage of the full-year target for the April-August period in FY24 is 36%.
