Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC CESSE Recruitment 2021 – JDO & JE Post

Educational Qualification (As on 05.03.2021)

1 Junior Draughting Officer in Highways Department

A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any University or Institution awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the concerned State Government

Provided that while making an appointment by direct recruitment to the post of Junior Draughting Officer, preference shall be given if other things being equal, to those who have undergone one year of apprenticeship training under the Government of India Scheme or the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme.

2 Junior Draughting Officer in Public Works Department

Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director-General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education;

(OR)

Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director-General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education.

3 Junior Technical Assistant in Handlooms and Textiles Department

i) Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification. AND

ii) Must possess a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi or from any other recognised Institute of Handloom Technology.

(OR)

Diploma in Textile Manufacture obtained from the Technological Diploma Examination Board, Madras or the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.

4 Junior Engineer in Fisheries Department Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to those who have undergone apprenticeship training for a period of not less than one year under the Government of India Schemes or State Government apprenticeship training scheme.

Note:

The educational qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies viz. 10th + Diploma Course (10+3) or 10th + HSC + Diploma Course (10+2+2) or 10th + HSC + Bachelors Degree Course(10+2+4). The results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of Notification. [Section 20 (4) (iv) of the T.N Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act 2016]

Examination Fee

One-Time Registration Fee

For One-Time Registration (Revised with effect from 01.03.2017 vide G.O.(Ms). No. 32, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 01.03.2017)

Note

(i) Applicants who have already registered in the One-Time online Registration system and within the validity period of 5 years are exempted.

(ii) Applicants who have already registered in the One-Time online Registration system by paying Rs.50/- before 01.03.2017 and having validity, those who have registered for One-Time Registration on or after 01.03.2017 by paying Rs.150/- towards One-Time online Registration are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.

(iii) Applicants who have made One-Time Registration must pay the prescribed examination fee for this recruitment unless fee exemption is claimed. (One-Time Registration is only to avail exemption for the Registration fee for a period of 5 years from the date of registration and it will not be considered as prescribed examination fee for this recruitment).

Note:

  • Linking Aadhaar number with One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for applicants.[ For further details refer to para 2B of „Instructions to Applicants‟.]
  • One Time Registration is valid for five years from the date of registration. After completion of five years, the applicant must renew the One Time Registration by paying the fee prescribed. The Time Registration is different from the application for the examination. An applicant should make an online application separately for each and every examination for which he intends to appear.[Para 2C of „Instructions to Applicants‟.]
  • Applicants who had already registered under the One-Time Registration system by paying Rs.50/- before 01.03.2017 and having validity and those who have registered for One-Time Registration on or after 01.03.2017 by paying Rs.150/- towards One-Time Registration are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.

Step 4: If Login ID is available enter create a password, enter your email Id, Mobile no, personal details, and click on “Save & Proceed”.

Step 5: Enter your Communal Reservation Category details, Communication details and Educational qualification. Then click on “Save & Proceed”.

Step 6: Pay the registration fee either online or offline mode.

Step 7: Now come back to the home page, and click on “Apply online”.

Step 8: New window will open and click on the “Apply Now → Apply Now” against the Combined Engineering Subordinate Engineering Service Examination.

Step 9: Enter your Login ID and Password. Then, an application form will open.
